Hello, we’re

Lesley and Laura Wallis.

We are  from Wellington, New Zealand and we are walking Camino Del Norte on the northern coast of Spain.. We are not super-heroes, fit enough or strong enough but we are giving it a go. Laura is in her 30’s and has never walked further than to the taxi before. Lesley is in her 60’s and has been walking for years but age is taking a bit of a toll.

We made this little website so you can follow our travels and as a  record for us. We are both writers so hope that some of it will be at least mildly entertaining. Forgive us in advance for our typos and boring bits. Sometimes writing stories on your phone in a bunk bed in a strange place makes exactitude a little tough to achieve. But we  hope you will come on the journey with us.
